Providers can view payment information by logging into the WCMBP Provider Portal. More information is provided below for remittance vouchers, OWCP fee schedule and appeals.

Overview

Providers receive a Remittance Voucher (RV) explaining the payments made from the WCMBP System by the Department of Labor (DOL) Office of Workers' Compensation Programs (OWCP). A list of RVs is available to providers in the WCMBP Provider Portal. The Remittance Voucher is also called an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) or a Remittance Advice (RA).

Fee Schedules: Providers must read and accept the copyright statements before accessing the OWCP Fee Schedule files. Be sure to view the Read Me first file for the respective effective date.

Appeals: There are three criteria qualifying a reconsideration as a fee schedule appeal: code and provided treatment are mismatched, or the presence of a severe or concomitant medical condition made treatment especially difficult, or the provider possesses unusual qualifications. Appeal requests must be submitted within 30 days of payment and include supporting documentation regarding the reason for appeal.
