Effective October 1, 2025, the Division of Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation (DEEOIC) will discontinue coverage for HCPCS Code A9901. Please select this link for more information.

Providers: Effective September 20, 2025, the Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs (OWCP) will require submitted bills to include National Provider Identifier (NPI) and taxonomy codes. The submitted NPI and taxonomy codes must match the information in the OWCP provider file to avoid billing denials. Please select this link for further information.

Beginning September 20, 2025, providers using the OWCP online authorization system will have the option to copy information from a previous authorization request when submitting a new authorization. Please select this link for more information.

Effective August 9, 2025, the Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs (OWCP) will limit the procedure codes that can be submitted on an authorization request, based on the authorization type. Please select this link for more information.
