Provider Portal

The Provider Portal is the external-facing version of the Workers' Compensation Medical Bill Process (WCMBP) system that enables providers of the Office of Workers' Compensation Programs (OWCP) to view medical bill information online.

To access the Provider Portal, log in to OWCP Connect using the login credentials provided to you by OWCP. At the "Welcome" page, select your provider ID from the drop-down and click Go.

The Provider Portal home page displays. The body of the page shows a My Reminders section that lists any alerts sent to you from OWCP. On the left is a navigation panel that provides hyperlinks to other information associated with your provider ID:

Bill Inquiry - Enables you to search for a bill using the Transaction Control Number (TCN), claimant ID, and bill service date.
View Payment - Enables you to view a list of Remittance Voucher (RV) payments.
Bill Adjustment/Void - Enables you to search for paid bills within the past four years that you want to adjust or void.
Online Bills Entry - Enables you to submit professional, institutional, or dental bills online.
Resubmit Denied/Voided Bill - Enables you to search for denied or voided bills within the past four years that you want to resubmit.
Retrieve Saved Bills - Enables you to view a list of saved bills.
Manage Templates - Enables you to create a new template or manage existing templates used for submitting bills.
Create Bills from Saved Templates - Enables you to create a new bill based on an existing template in your template list.
Eligibility Inquiry - Provides an inquiry page where you can determine a claimant's eligibility for services.
On-line Authorization Submission - Enables you to view a list of authorization requests.
Maintain Provider Information - Enables provider system administrators to revise provider information in the system.
Submit HIPAA Batch Transaction - Enables you to upload a HIPAA batch transaction (.dat) file.
Retrieve HIPAA Batch Responses - Enables you to view a list of HIPAA responses and acknowledgments to your batch transaction uploads.
Maintain Users - Enables provider system administrators to add new users to the portal or maintain the accounts of existing portal users.
Correspondence - Shows a history of correspondence with OWCP.
