Approving or Rejecting an Associated Zip Code

To approve or reject a Zip code associate with a locality code:

From the Reference tab menu, select the Locality Code List hyperlink.

The system displays the Locality Code page.

Select the hyperlink in the Locality Code column for the code you want to view.

The system displays the Locality Detail page.

In the Associated Zip Code section, click the checkbox in the checkbox column for the Zip code you want to approve or reject.

Note: If the “In Review” item you added or modified does not appear in the list, select Status from the Filter By drop-down, type “In Review” in the adjacent text box, and click Go.

Select the Approve or Reject button.

The system displays the Update Status dialog.

Select a Reason Code (optional).
Enter any necessary comments in the Remarks field and click the OK button.

The system exits back to the Locality Detail page where the Zip code now shows the status of “Approved” or “Rejected” in the Associated Zip Code section.
