Approving or Rejecting a Proc/Svc Code Association
To approve or reject a Proc/Svc association:
- From the Reference tab menu, click the Diagnosis List Code hyperlink.
The system shows the Diagnosis Codes page.
- If the code you want to view is not shown on the page, select a category from the Filter By drop-down, enter a search term or the wildcard character (%) in the adjacent text box, and click Go.
The system displays the Diagnosis Codes page with filtered results.
- Select the Diagnosis Code hyperlink for the code you want to view.
The system shows the Diagnosis Details page.
- From the Show menu, select Associations.
The system displays the Diagnosis to Proc/Svc Code Association List page.
- Select the checkbox under the checkbox column for the Proc/Svc code in “In Review” status you want to approve or reject.
- Select Approve or Reject.
The system displays the Update Status dialog.
- Select a Reason Code (optional).
- Enter any necessary comments in the Remarks field and click the OK button.
The system exits back to the Diagnosis to Proc/Svc Code Association List page where the Proc/Svc code shows the status of “Approved” or “Rejected.”
