Approving or Rejecting a DRG Code
To approve or reject a DRG code:

From the Reference tab menu, click the Diagnosis List Code hyperlink.
The system shows the Diagnosis Codes page.

If the code you want to approve or reject is not shown on the page, select a category from the Filter By drop-down, type “In Review” in the adjacent search field, and click Go.
The system displays the Diagnosis Codes page with diagnosis codes in “In Review” status.

Select the checkbox under the checkbox column for the code you want to approve or reject.

Select Approve or Reject.
The system displays the Update Status dialog.

Select a Reason Code (optional).

Enter any necessary comments in the Remarks field and click the OK button.
The system exits back to the Diagnosis Codes page where the code now shows the status of “Approved” or “Rejected.”
