Adding a Specialty or Subspecialty to a Profile
To add a specialty or subspecialty to a profile:

In the Admin tab, select the Profile hyperlink.
The system displays the Manage Profiles page.

Use the Filter By search fields to find the profile to which you want to associate a program type and RAC codes.
For example, select Profile Name from the Filter By drop-down list, and then enter a search term in the adjacent text box. You can enter either a full or partial search term, but if you use a partial term (such as a single letter), be sure to add the wildcard character (%) to the term.

Select Go.
The system displays an updated Manage Profiles page with a list of records that match the search criteria you entered.

Select either the Name or the Description hyperlink for the profile for which you want to add associations.

The system displays the Profile Details page.

From the Show drop-down, click Associated Specialty & Sub Specialty.
The system displays the Associated Specialty and Sub Specialty Codes page.

Select Add.
The system displays the Manage Specialty/SubSpecialty Codes Association page.

Enter or select the Start Date and the End Date for the selected specialty/subspecialty. Scroll down the Available Specialty/Subspecialty Codes list box and select a specialty/subspecialty code, then select the right double-arrow button to add it to the Associated Specialty/Subspecialty Codes list box.

Select OK.
The system exits back to the Associated Specialty and Sub Specialty Codes page with the selected specialty/subspecialty codes added to the profile.

Select Close to return to the Profile Details page.

Select Close again to return to the Manage Profiles page.
