Viewing and Modifying Modifier Codes
To view or modify modifier codes:

From the Reference tab menu, click the Modifier List Code hyperlink.
The system shows the Modifier Codes List page. This page displays the modifier code with its description, status, start and end dates, effective date, and modifier category.

If the code you want to view is not shown on the page, select a category from the Filter By drop-down, enter a search term or the wildcard character (%) in the adjacent text box, and click Go.
The system displays the Modifier Codes List page with filtered results.

To modify one of the diagnosis code fields, click the Modifier Code hyperlink for the code you want to modify.
The system shows the Modifier General page. From this page, you can make changes to the modifier fields that appeared on the Modifier Codes List page.

Update the editable fields as needed and click Save.
The system saves your changes and refreshes the Modifier General page.

To return to the Modifier Codes List page, click Close.
