Viewing and Modifying Associated Dental Attributes
To view or modify dental attributes associated with the Proc/Svc code:

From the Reference tab menu, select the Proc/Svc List Code hyperlink.
The system displays the Proc/Svc Codes page.

From the Filter By drop-down menu, select a filter, enter a search term in the adjacent text box (a required field), and click Go.
For example, from the Filter By drop-down list, select Description and enter a full search term or partial search term with the wildcard character (%) in the adjacent text box, and click Go.
The system displays an updated Proc/Svc Codes page with records that match the filter criteria you entered.
Note: The information in the Associated Dental Attributes page populates only if the procedure code has associated attributes information.

Select the hyperlink under the Proc/Svc Code column for the code you want to view.
The system displays the Proc/Svc Details page.

Select Associate Dental Attributes from the Show menu.
The system displays the Associated Dental Attributes page. This page displays the program and claim type to which the listed attribute applies, and identifies the dental attribute name, dental area code, description, status, effective date, and whether the code is included or excluded in the association.

From the Filter By drop-down menu, select a filter, enter a search term in the adjacent text box (a required field), and click Go.
For example, from the Filter By drop-down list, select Program and enter the wildcard character (%) in the adjacent text box, and click Go.
The system displays an updated Associated Dental Attributes list page with records that match the filter criteria you entered.

If you need to update a dental attribute, select the hyperlink under the Dental Area Code column for the dental attribute you want to update.
The system displays the Proc/Svc Dental Attribute End page.
Note: Only the Claim Type and Include Exclude Flag fields can be modified on this page.

Change the Claim Type and Include Exclude Flag fields as needed and click the Save button.
The system refreshes the Proc/Svc Dental Attribute End page.

Select the Close button.
The system exits back to the Associated Dental Attributes page.
