Approving or Rejecting a Surgical Code Indicator
To approve or reject a surgical code indicator:

From the Reference tab menu, click the Surgical List Code hyperlink.
The system shows the Surgical Codes page.

If the code you want to view is not shown on the page, select a category from the Filter By drop-down, enter a search term or the wildcard character (%) in the adjacent text box, and click Go.
The system displays the Surgical Codes page with filtered results.

Select the Surgical Code hyperlink for the code you want to view.
The system shows the Surgical Code Details page.

In the Associated Indicators section, click the checkbox under the checkbox column for the indicator in “In Review” status you want to approve or reject.

Select Approve or Reject.
The system displays the Update Status dialog.

Select a Reason Code (optional).

Enter any necessary comments in the Remarks field and click the OK button.
The system exits back to the Surgical Code Details page where the indicator shows the status of “Approved” or “Rejected” in the Associated Indicators section.
