Approving or Rejecting a Diagnosis Code
To approve or reject a diagnosis code:

From the Reference tab menu, click the DRG List Code hyperlink.
The system shows the DRG Codes List page.

If the code you want to view is not shown on the page, select a category from the Filter By drop-down, enter a search term or the wildcard character (%) in the adjacent text box, and click Go.
The system displays the DRG Codes List page with filtered results.

Select the DRG Code hyperlink for the code you want to view.
The system shows the DRG Details page.

From the Show menu, select Associate Diagnosis.
The system displays the Associated Diagnosis List page.

click the checkbox under the checkbox column for the diagnosis code in “In Review” status you want to approve or reject.

Select Approve or Reject.
The system displays the Update Status dialog.

Select a Reason Code (optional).

Enter any necessary comments in the Remarks field and click the OK button.
The system exits back to the Associated Diagnosis List page where the diagnosis code shows the status of “Approved” or “Rejected.”
