Adding an Associate Max Units/Max Dollar Threshold
To add an associated maximum unit or dollar threshold:
- From the Reference tab menu, select the Proc/Svc List Code hyperlink.
The system displays the Proc/Svc Codes page.
- From the Filter By drop-down menu, select a filter, enter a search term in the adjacent text box (a required field), and click Go.
For example, from the Filter By drop-down list, select Description and enter a full search term or partial search term with the wildcard character (%) in the adjacent text box, and click Go.
The system displays an updated Proc/Svc Codes page with records that match the filter criteria you entered.
- Select the hyperlink under the Proc/Svc Code column for the code you want to view.
The system displays the Proc/Svc Details page.
- Select Proc/Svc Associations from the Show menu.
The system displays the Proc/Svc Associations page.
- Select the Add button above the Associated Max Units/Max Dollar Threshold section.
The system displays the Add Max Units/Max Dollar Threshold dialog.
- Select the program from the Program drop-down.
The system refreshes the dialog and populates the Claim Type drop-down with options for the program you selected.
- Select the claim type from the Claim Type drop-down.
- Select the modifier from the Modifier drop-down (optional).
- From the Max Unit Type drop-down, select whether this is a max units or max dollar threshold.
- Enter the maximum units or dollars in the Max Units/Dollar Threshold field.
- Select the age range from the Age Ranges drop-down.
- Enter dates for the Start Date and End Date fields.
- Select OK.
The system saves the new code with a status of “In Review” and exits the dialog back to the Proc/Svc Associations page.
- To view the added max units/max dollar threshold in the Associated Max Units/Max Dollar Threshold section, select Status from the Filter By drop-down, type “In Review” in the adjacent search field, and click Go.
The system displays the list of maximum units/dollar thresholds that are in “In Review” status including the threshold you just added.
