Adding a CCI

To add a CCI:

  1. From the Reference tab menu, click the CCI hyperlink.

The system displays the CCI List page.

  1. Select Add.

The system displays the Add CCI dialog.

  1. Select the CCI type indicator from the CCI Type Indctr drop-down.

  2. At the First Proc/Svc Code field, click the lookup arrow at the right of the field.

The system displays the Procedure Lookup dialog.

  1. Select the procedure from the list box and click OK.

The system exits back to the Add CCI dialog where the First Proc/Svc Code field is now populated with your selection.

  1. Repeat the previous two steps for the Second Proc/Svc Code field.

  2. Select the CCI claim category from the CCI Claim Category drop-down.

  3. Select the CCI type from the CCI Type drop-down (optional)

  4. Select the modifier applicability indicator from the Modifier Applicability Indctr drop-down (optional).

  5. Select the policy lookup from the Policy Lookup drop-down (optional).

  6. Select the provider indicator from the Provider Indicator drop-down.

  7. Enter the start date in the Start Date field.

  8. Enter the end date in the End Date field (optional).

  9. When you are finished, click OK.

The system exits back to the CCI page where the added CCI shows a status of “In Review.”
