Assigning Authorization Request Reviewers

You can use this link to view the details of the reviewer for the selected submitted authorization. Authorization Supervisors users can use this link it to assign reviewers.

To assign authorization request reviewers:

  1. In the Authorization tab, select the Authorization Request List hyperlink.

The system displays the Authorization Request List page.

  1. From the Filter By drop-down menu, select a filter, enter a search term in the adjacent text box (a required field), and select Go.

For example, from the Filter By drop-down list, select OWCP Provider ID and enter a wildcard search value (that is, %) in the adjacent text box, and then select Go.

  1. The system displays an updated Authorization Request List page with records that match the filter criteria you entered.

Note: Only submitted requests can have reviewers assigned to them.

  1. Select the Ops Reviewer hyperlink for the authorization request that requires a reviewer.

The system displays the Reviewer Details page.

  1. select an Organization. (Required)

  2. Select an Ops Reviewer. (Required)

  3. Select a District Office. (Optional)

  4. Select a Claim Examiner/MBE. (Optional)

  5. Select the OK button.

The system assigns the reviewer and displays the Authorization Request List page.
